“Dale is an exceptional person. She has provided a range of coaching, personal and group training and development courses in a number of businesses I have managed over many years. Not only have I enjoyed working with her on a personal level but she has never failed to offer a highly professional service which delivers great results.”

Vanda Murray, OBE for Services to Industry & Export

Dale Stafford is a successful business woman with a track record that speaks for itself - launching, managing and leading the development and growth of her own business and contributing significantly to the development and growth of many other organizations and thousands of people.

In 1980, Dale started her own business and with a passion for people, quality service and achievement of outstanding results, under her leadership the company became one of the UK’s leading and best performing training providers. Her company was one of the first in the country to be awarded Investors in People

As President of Stockport Chamber of Commerce & Industry between 1997-1999 Dale was only the second woman in this Chamber’s history to hold the position.  During her business life she has also held a number of non-executive director appointments with organisations including Stockport Health Authority and Business Link as well as chairing Young Enterprise in Stockport for over 20 years.

A reputation for excellence ultimately attracted the interest of a private equity company and in 2006, Dale sold the business she’d created and nurtured with heart and soul for over 25 years.

2006 also saw Dale invited to Downing Street where she was recognized by the Prime Minister for her personal contribution to further education and skills. She has now founded The Principle Department, designing and delivering bespoke services that really make a difference – unleashing the human spirit and expanding her clients’ capacity to grow and achieve.

FANTASTIC

“Fantastic Dale. You have such courage and competence. I have never seen anyone take a group on their own journey the way you did it - massive steps were made thanks to you.”

Professor Alastair Nicholson
Said Business School, Oxford

With a rare combination of business experience and expert understanding in the field of learning and development, Dale has the personal credibility and human qualities required to gain respect working with top decision-makers and leaders of the future, whether they be in large commercial or public sector organisations or running small and medium sized enterprises.

Dale’s approach is engaging and focused on delivering real benefit to individuals and the organisations they work in. What’s more, she has a great sense of humour and is fun to work with making the relationships she forges with companies - and the people who work in them - professionally and personally rewarding.

Her personal mission is to inspire and motivate people to realise their own potential, improve the quality of their lives and so encourage them to make a bigger contribution to the businesses they own or work in, their families and the communities they’re part of.

Dale’s been married for over 35 years, has 2 grown up children and lives in Cheshire.

BEEN THERE, DONE IT

“Dale’s different. She’s been there done it and got the T-shirt - from setting up, to selling on and all the trials and tribulations in between. So she really knows about business. She knows about people and she knows what it takes to achieve success.”
